Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Review - Submitted: January/12/2011

Submitted by: Josh

Star wars games on the DS have been fairly successfull. There's LEGO Star wars, Star Wars Clone Wars products, Star Wars Battlefront, and various other stuff. But this game top's them all if you ask me. It's like...super epic. The controls are fun to use, the graphics are descent, and it's all arund worth getting.

In Force Unleashed II, you play as darth Vader's secret apprentice, and he is awesome! Starkiller is a great character, however he is only a clone of the original starkiller and must find out the truth about his origin's.

Graphics: 9/10

Pretty good. The buildings in the distance look great, the characters look great, the rain and everything just looks allmost Wii-worthy. Until you zoom in of course, then you can start to see the pixels.

The game's graphics is 3D side-scrolling platformer styled. It makes great use the DS's ability to focus in on a perticular area of a rendered world and make that spot more detailed. The in-game cinematics are good too.

Interactivity: 10/10

The game's interactivity is fantastic! You can lift obects using force and dark force powers, zap enemies using dark force lightening, and throw your lightsaber using the force. It's really everything a sith can do. Fighting with lightsabers is very fun, although you might break your DS from tapping the screen in a saber fight if you aren't carefull.

Sound: 9/10

Good! I like the Voice acting which provides an eic backdrop as you go through the game. You sot of get used to people being around and saying thing's to you as you fight your way into the heart of Kamino.

Multiplayer: ?/10

No Multiplayer in this game, just Single.

Replayability: 10/10

I give a ten because you can litterally select any point in the game to play again from the load screen.

Control: 7/10

The control is great, the touch screen messes up sometimes though, and the game demands a lot of tapping the screen when fighting another saber-wielder.

Overall: 9/10

An excellent game to play if you have a lot of free time. I'd advise it, it's my most played DS game right now other than Spirit tracks(which I am playing over for the 3rd time).
